Ramesvara temple, a Rashtrakuta venture built in circa 900 AD, is located nearly 50 m north of Parasvanatha Basti. The temple has a sandhara garbhagriha and a pillared mukhamandapa in front, all in east-west orientation. The ceilings to the east and west of the central ceiling have good sculptural depictions of padma. In the region of navaranga are placed a large saptamatrika panel and a fine sculpture of Mahishamardini. On the exterior, the walls are plain. A rare inscription in the temple refers to major forms of medieval Indian temples.
